Segregation of funds

Formax is obligated under the FCA principles for business requirements to comply with the client money rules. As such, all client deposited funds are segregated from the company’s own funds.

The purpose of separating client funds from our own is to ensure that money belonging to clients is never used by Formax for business related purposes, thus in the event of insolvency, clients’ funds are therefore protected.

In addition, Clients’ funds are also protected under The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). The scheme offers up to £50,000 financial protection per client, in the unlikely event that Formax should encounter an inability to meet with financial obligations. In the unlikely event that this occurs, you should submit a claim to the FSCS.

Treating customers fairly

In accordance with our regulatory requirements and commitment to integrity, Formax will always aim to treat all customers fairly and provide clear and accurate information on all our products and services before, during and after the point of sale. We aim to ensure that our level of service will continually meet all our customers’ requirements and should any customer wish to express any query, concern or complaint, we will endeavour to provide a conclusive response to the satisfaction of all parties.

Risk warning

Complaints procedures

We are committed to providing you with the best customer experience. However, we realise a situation may arise whereby you would like to complain about a particular product or service. We take all complaints seriously and will work with you to resolve any matters as quickly as possible. Issues may arise through misunderstanding or simple error, if so please contact us immediately to discuss your query.

Conflict of interest

Formax Prime Capital is required to take all necessary and reasonable steps to identify any conflicts of interest that may arise between the company, its employees, its clients and any associated third parties or affiliates.

The interests of the clients are paramount and so every effort will be made to ensure that all clients are treated in a fair and professional manner.

Limited power of attorney

Clients can authorise a Limited Power of Attorney to execute trades and communicate with Formax Prime Capital on their behalf.
